New York designer Michael Schmidt and architect Francis Bitonti created the first fully articulated 3D-printed dress fitted for the only woman who is able to wear such an innovative dress: Dita Von Teese. The project, made in collaboration with 3D print mavericks Shapeways, is assembled has about 3,000 articulated joints. The black dress also is adorned with over 13,000 Swarovski crystals.
