The You Are Beautiful sticker campaign originated in Chicago by designer and artist Matthew Hoffman more than a decade ago. Since the project's humble beginnings, Hoffman has given out more than a half million stickers internationally that contain the phrase. In a recent Kickstarter campaign, he raised more than $30,000 to fund a book detailing stories and experiences he had with the campaign. He also made a 100-foot-long, 8-foot-tall wooden mural for the 35 Denton Music Festival in Texas.
