Foster + Partners Designs Modular Facades for the Queen Alia International Airport

The facility plans on a massive increase in traffic.

Foster + Partnersdesigned the Queen Alia International Airportin Amman, Jordan. They were inspired by Bedouin tents, leading them to create a canopy of domes over the new terminal at the airport. The design of the terminal will enable the airport to increase its passenger capacity from 3.5 million annually to 12 million by 2030.
