We have talked about Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner and his love of using colorful paint in interesting ways. He's back now with a new series entitled Black Hole in which the artist attached a metallic rod to an electric drill and covered the rod with paint. When he activated the drill, the paint flew off in artistic ways. He captured the centrifugal force making the paint fly with a carefully timed camera. The images were taken only a millisecond after the drill was turned on. Watch a video showing how it was done below.
