The High Museum of Art in Atlanta has opened an exhibition devoted to the works of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Frida & Diego: Passion, Politics, and Painting features over 140 works from the artists. The show is meant to embrace Mexican art as a whole, with an additional two spaces devoted to award-winning Mexican designers Hector Esware and Ignacio Cadena. These spaces will hold two large monochromic installations in red and yellow that will feature quotes about the two symbolic colors by Frida and Diego. The exhibit will take place until May 12.
