Spray painting a church is usually considered a big crime, but not at 700 Delaware in Washington D.C. Last year, HENSE was officially hired to paint the outside of an abandoned church located in an up-and-coming arts district. With help from a small group, the artist completed the large-scale display, covering every inch of surface space on the structure. The building is located across the street from a planned museum and hotel, and the artist wants it to be one of the earliest pieces of major art to be introduced to the area.
