Photographer John Schabel Captures Airplane Passengers From Windows

He's watching you watch your neighbors.

Photographer John Schabel has released a series titled Passengers as part of his new book of the same name. While they were taken in the '90s, it's still exciting to see the bored, amused, or creepy faces of the people he's captured. To take these, Schabel used a 500mm reflex lens with a 2x teleconverter lens and says, "It was a different time and there was not the same kind of suspicion of cameras…There wasn't such a sensitivity about the airport."
