MoMA Starts Project For Designers to Help Rebuild the Rockaways (Video)

While many natural disasters leave our consciousness as soon as they're over, the damage often endures in places that need our help the most. In the case of Hurricane Sandy, the Rockaways are still devastated and need rebuilding. MoMA and MoMA PS1 director Klaus Biesenbach are calling on artists, architects, designers, and urban planners to submit relief proposals. 25 of these will be shown to the public, and a jury of curators will pick the winner.
