This new book from Frank Philippin and Billy Kiosoglou of Brighten The Cornershas a wonderful concept. In I Used to Be a Design Student: 50 Graphic Designers Then and Now, the authors sought out to understand the development of some of the most creative people on earth. They compiled interviews of 50 designers who talk about their current works as well as their days in art school. Some people interviewed are: Margaret Calvert, Ken Garland, Stefan Sagmester, and Andy Stevens. It gets very personal, providing info about the designers' daily routines and favorite foods. The book is also well designed itself. Buy a copy here.
