Francesco Lo Castro is an artist from Florida who built buzz with his paintings of geometric shapes. The multicolor polygons he uses in his work are displayed in a minimalist style, however his work also references cubism in the way the shapes appear to exist in multiple planes. He uses oils and acrylics, spray paint, and silkscreen. He also uses layered epoxy resin and gold leaf on a wood base. No wonder he's been popular in the Miami art scene for more than a decade.
