Painter Doug Bloodworth is our hero. In 1974, he began his career as a handyman artist, painting everything from billboards to caricatures. Now, he creates photorealistic paintings that are simply astounding. He actually begins his paintings with a blank canvas, not a grid. What we also love is the fact that unlike other photorealistic painters, he's not painting beautiful flowers or elegant women. Nope, he paints comic books and Twinkies. He's just baller in every way. Watch him work on a painting below.
