Parlophone will be releasing a reissue of Morrissey's 1991 album Kill Uncle as well as the 1989 single "The Last of the Famous International Playboys" on April 8. Unfortunately, the single will not include the new cover that was planned to accompany the release (the original cover appears above).

True to You, the official fansite of Morrissey, explains that the release was going to feature a never-before-seen photo of Morrissey and David Bowie in New York from 1992 taken by visual artist Linder Sterling. The statement says, "David Bowie has ordered EMI UK not to run the proposed artwork for Morrissey's April 8th issue of the re-mastered 'The Last of the Famous International Playboys' single and CD." It also states, "Although Bowie has no legal rights to the photograph, most of his back catalogue is presently licensed to EMI."

Currently Morrissey is ill and on hiatus. Bowie is gearing up to release a new record entitled The Next Day in March.
