It may not be edible, but Aude Moreau's carpet made from two tons of sugar is definitely a feat of design. Titled the Sugar Carpet, the piece resembles a Persian rug and is only colored in black, white, and red. During Hurricane Sandy, the gallery space was flooded, causing $400,000 worth of damages; however, they've restored the installation and given viewers the ability to walk on the carpet, as well.

If you can curb your sweet tooth, visit it in-person at Smack Mellon in Brooklyn through February 24, 2013.
