At Complex Art+Design, it's pretty clear that we love treehouses and the idea of architecture being a means of escape. Portland-based architect Robert Oshatz's latest project, the Wilkinson Residence, exists in an Oregon forest with all the mystique and curves to welcome and inspire your inner child, or at least the one who dreamed of living in a treehouse. It may be a more contemporary and extravagant version of the one you wanted back in the day, but it's no less cozy. If you enjoy natural light, large balconies, and warm cedar wood, get excited by the Wilkinson Residence.
