Taiwanese designer Shu-Chun Hsiao has reappropriated a common symbol that most of us see more than we care to admit—the Google Maps landmark icon. In a way meant to reevaluate our perspective using scale, he imagines the icon as a location marker for birds instead of humans. Using the sentiment of people finding a destination using the Maps service, Hsiao has created a point B for birds that provides them with the food and shelter they often need.
