Yesterday, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge shared her first official portrait, painted by Paul Emsley, at London's National Portrait Gallery. As you can imagine, it's raised some eyebrows over its perceived misrepresentation of the duchess' age, beauty, and status. The painting looks neither flattering or accurate; however, given Emsley's known photorealistic, hyperrealistic style, it's likely the painting was intentionally made this way.
