The Design Museum in London Announces Nominees for Design of the Year 2013

The historic museum reveals its best in show, many of which are familiar to Complex.

The Design Museum in London has revealed its nominees for the Designs of the Year 2013. Over 90 nominations have been declared in the fields of product, digital, fashion, furniture, graphic, and transport design. Some of the projects are simple ideas with great execution while others are more complicated and labored. We have discussed many nominees before, including the Austria Solar Annual Report by Serviceplan, "Lightfield Camera" by Lytro that allows users to refocus images after snapping shots, and MVRDV's interesting take on libraries entitled "Book Mountain."

An exhibition dedicated to the nominees will be held from March 20 to July 17 at the museum's South Bank location at Shad Thames in London.
