No one truly knew what the electric guitar was possible of until Jimi Hendrix came along, and the same is true of his psychadelic sense of style. Draped in flowing scarves, vibrant colors, and exotic patterns, Jimi provided a trippy take on the staid British Victorian dress that most rockers were attempting. He broke the mold of simply putting a modern spin on old clothing and in the process provided hippie movement a sense of glamor. The insane outfits and signature pieces that Hendrix wore throughout his career became even more awesome and outrageous as he traveled the world, eventually warranting their own section on his Wikipedia page.
