Band: The Spiders; The Nazz; Alice Cooper

Coming out of Detroit in the early '70s, Alice Cooper's music was upstaged by his charisma and insane live act that shaped the way heavy metal would develop over the next few decades. Using imagery and influence from vaudeville theater, horror films, and general violence, the frontman's bizarre get-up that was the thing of nightmares became his signature look. But on his off-days, Alice kept it crispy in bright florals that were as sharp as his famous wit and charm.
