Jamie Livingston was a photographer, filmmaker, and circus performer in New York who took one photo a day with a Polaroid SX-70 for eighteen years, including the day of his death. When he died, his two closest friends scanned and uploaded over 6,000 images onto a website for all to learn from and be inspired by his memory. Each image tells a small story, whether one of happiness and joy or difficult times. Altogether, the project reminds us of the power each of us have to document our own history and positively affect others.
