The world of plastic surgery has no longer become taboo and in some instances it's glorified. Photographer Cara Phillips created a monograph entitled Singular Beauty in which she took pictures of the rooms where plastic surgery takes place. What's so amazing about her work is the fact that the grotesqueness she reveals is not contrived. She simply took pictures and let scenes speak for themselves.
