James Nizam understands that the simple combination of great lighting and a monochrome aesthetic have the ability to create something otherworldly. This series of photographs, appropriately named "Trace of Heavens," uses an abandoned property in Delta, Canada in order to capture the richness of natural light when consciously constructed and constrained. By tactfully placed gaps and holes, a few mirrors, and good old mother nature, these photographs demonstrate the magnificence and simplicity of light and form. Undoubtedly this work is engaging, complex, and unconventional. Well done, Nizam.
