Artist Ellie Davies brings back primitive building methods in her sculpture project in the woods. Using collected material from the forest, the artist builds shelter-like structures that resemble nests. The constructions are meant to represent the artist's transient presence in the forest setting, using all natural materials and minimizing disturbance to the space. As time goes on and the forest lives on, her works are also transformed and photographed to reflect their coexistence with the environment.
