Gun control is a major topic right now and everyone's waiting as President Obama is about to release a new set of gun control proposals. Recent shootings have put the discussion of banning assault rifles at the top the list, and in fashion there’s always a designer just in time to create some controversy. In a recent autumn/winter 2013 show, German designer Phillipp Plein really drove the military-theme home. How? He sent models down the runway toting assault rifles that probably made the audience cringe. Models also had "Only kill for real love," and, "Life's a game and it's not fair,” scrawled across their bodies. Clearly his mind is in a weird bubble that prevents him from being in touch with the real world. Or maybe he’s just trying to attract NRA members to cop his collection. What do you think of this attention grabbing technique?
