Draft Dodging

The thing about military jackets is that they're not nearly the essential wardrobe staple people claim it to be, but that's not to say it isn't versatile—just look at this seemingly cool Italian dude. As one of the original outfitters of the U.S. military during the '60s and 70s, Alpha Industries' M-65 field jacket is as close to the real deal as you can get without getting drafted. And before you mention it, we know military jackets are a dime a dozen at any vintage shop, but we've been through this shit already and you and I both know that shit is gross. Save yourself some time, cop a new one and wear it every fucking day. At $144 with six colors to choose from, it's literally the most affordable thing we've written about ever.
