Believe it or not, Moss retired from modeling in 2000. Apparently, she called her agency, Storm, and told them she was quitting. "I didn't want to say 'I'm a model' ever again," she said in an interview with Time Out. She was tired of flying to and from London and New York City. "I quit because I thought, 'I hate it'. It's mind-numbing, repeating yourself like Groundhog Day," she said. Thankfully, though, Moss' retirement was short-lived; Storm convinced her to return to the runway a few months after.
