We can't make this stuff up! Mark Waters, famous for directing Mean Girls (and various directing and producing involvement with House of Yes and 500 Days of Summer) is at the helm of an upcoming hour-long scripted drama series for E! called Gallerina (term meaning a girl who works in an art gallery, get it?). Instead of being based in NYC (like Bravo's Gallery Girls series from this past summer), the show will be based in Los Angeles. It supposedly will star a young woman employed at the non-existent Bettencourt Gallery and follow drama with her boss and high-profile visitors. Will it be an accurate representation of the art world and the career of a gallerina? Of course, that remains to be seen.
