14. SABER Does an Aerial Graffiti Campaign in NYC
Date: September 23, 2012
In response to Mitt Romney telling Fortune Magazine that he would eliminate arts programs if elected president, SABER did an aerial graffiti campaign in NYC that included phrases such as "Defend the Arts," "#StreetArt," and "Occupy Wall Street." He hired five skywriting planes to do it and told the press, "This extreme conservative has no appreciation for the arts or American culture, despite the fact that creative people are the backbone of this country."
