Last week, Google released their annual Zeitgeist, a report showing what the world Googled the most in 2012 per various categories such as "Images," "Athletes," "Feature Films," "Consumer Electronics," "Airlines," and more. Included in the release is a category for "Museums," with results that shocked us for a few reasons. Besides the search term for the "Chicago Museum of Science," which isn't an actual museum, all of the results are in the United States. As Hyperallergic points out, the Museum of Modern Art is not on the list, but neither are the Louvre, the Guggenheim, or the Smithsonian Museums. Click through to see The 10 Most-Googled Museums of 2012 and see what other trends you discover.
