Plans for a new Golden State Warriors' arena on the San Francisco waterfront have been in motion for some time. In fairness, so too have images of the plans—developed by Snøhetta and AECOM as architecture team. Snøhetta has extensive experience with waterfront projects (particularly in Norway and Egypt) and teaming with local AECOM will help propel the design forward to represent not just today, but the Bay's future.
Why are we revisting the news now? Why not. In seriousness, it is really because the concept images for the new 17,000-capacity venue are so damn awesome.
