Stone Island has been pushing the boundaries on its outerwear for quite some time now. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the brand takes the knit game a step further by introducing the reflective glow-in-the-dark knit. The Italian brand explains it’s “constructed by flat micro tapes coated with thousands of glass microspheres caged in a polyester mesh, printed using a sublimation pressure/heat technique to mix the fibres and to obtain a homogeneous surface.” You would think they’ve been working with NASA to develop this fabric, but the brand has its own long history of merging fabrics with technology.
