France's most famous designing brothers, Rowan and Erwan Bouroullec, have designed a new cutlery set for Alessi. "Ovale" is based on finding geometries and responding to the ergonomics that make well-balanced knives and forks. Erwan compares the process to typography, defining the object based on line and curve. The end result is a set of distinctive objects celebrating function without any pretension. The cutlery is the latest in a full line of "Ovale" kitchen goods the brother's have made for the Italian manufacturer.
