There's something remarkably odd (naked women serving water?) about ARTIST TLK w/ Pharrell Williams, a new talk show hosted by RSRV on Youtube. While the guests—KAWS and renowned postmodernist David Salle in this episode—are insightful and Williams' questions are intelligent, the set-up reminds vaguely of a Mr. Rodger's era PBS show. Still, it unmissable viewing, for despite Williams' sometimes off-kilter taste, his curiosity breeds some of the best merges of popular culture and fine art around.
