Dover Street Market signed a lease on a giant 20,000 square foot retail space in the heart of Murray Hill, Manhattan. The building, which spans seven stories and was previously home to Touro College, is located on the corner of Lexington Avenue and 30th street. The store has locations in offbeat neighborhoods in London and Tokyo, and the NYC location will be no different; on a block full of Indian restaurants, this sub-section of Murray Hill is also known as Curry Hill. The international store is owned by Comme des Garçons, and the new branch is expected to open in December, 2013.
