Miniature Taj Mahal Replica Worth $18.3 Million

Rich people, man.

The Taj Mahal is one of India's masterpieces. With an architectural style that combines characteristics from Persian, Ottoman Turkish and Indian influence, the white marble facade and gorgeous dome make this one of the most admired and renowned structures around the world. Recently, Syed Hanif, a jeweler from India commissioned 35 craftsmen to replicate the "crown of palaces" from 20 kg of gold, 400 kg of silver, and 8 diamonds. Yup, time is money and apparently Syed has tons of both. Worth an estimated $18.3 million, the 3.5 ft high mini-replica has everything Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had in mind when he designed the original Taj Mahal back in 1632. Only thing is, how can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building?
