Michael Jordan broke the sartorial rules at the very swanky La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach while playing a round of golf. The living legend was there as a guest of a club member and wore cargo shorts while hitting the links, which is against the club's rules. The old-school dress code of La Gorce says that guests and members must be wearing collared shirts and Bermuda shorts. The club approached Jordan on the 12th hole and offered him a chance to return to the club and change into proper attire, but, according to a Jordan rep, MJ "did refuse to interrupt his game, and return to the clubhouse and change." Boss move, in our opinion. But according to a source at the club, members complained about the violation, and Jordan will not be invited back to La Gorce. Their loss, said the Jordan rep, and we agree. "MJ is a great golfer, and a great guest."
