Everyone was glued to the TV for the post-election speech last Tuesday, but some people got more creative than others. Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by the election results and sketched a witty illustration of Barack Obama. Drawn in pencil and colored in makeup, the sketch shows the Commander in Chief in chef whites serving up a White House-shaped cake. The caption reads (in German) “The Biggest Chef in the World 10 x 5 Stars.” We would never imagine Karl Lagerfeld as an editorial cartoonist, but on the other hand, we never thought we would see him designing helicopters either.
