Situated against the Swiss alps, the town of Gordola, Switzerland has a great industrial tradition. Pia Durisch and Aldo Nolli toy with both local environment and history in the design for a new vocational education center. Build on stilts, to protect from flooding, the building houses a series of workshops with a sloping sawtooth roof that maximizes natural light.
