Twelve acres of waterway in Glasgow, Scotland are being transformed into a "floating leisure village," designed by ZM Architecture and Baca Architects, that will include homes, office space, stores, restaurants, and a concert venue. The $48 million development centers around a U-shaped roadway and will be completed in 2020. The town is part of a series in New York magazine's Global Design issue.
