The Way Things Are features installation work by Ulla von Brandenburg, Florence Doléac, and Virgil Marti. Curated by Marie-Claire Groeninck, the exhibition is equally about the meaning of objects and materials in today's digital world as it is about their relationship to the artists who created them. In examining how art relates to objects in 2012, as well as what people now perceive to be "things," we can imagine these pieces as both individual entities and interrelated works in conversation.
View the exhibition at Locks Gallery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania through October 27, 2012.
