Stuttgart, Germany is known for being a city of car manufacturing. If you have a Porsche or Mercedes, chances are it was made there. Good design doesn't stop at their cars, though; the Haus am Weinberg, located in a rural yet suburban setting, is sleek, contemporary, and elegant.
The villa has incredible views of an ancient hillside vineyard and the Stuttgart cityscape. It has varying atmospheres and spatial qualities, defined by four glazed and open corners allowing daylight to reach deep into the house. It was built to accentuate the natural light and oak wood flooring, through a sloping roofline and floor-to-ceiling windows.
