When amateur conservator Cecilia Gimenez took it upon herself to restore a 19th-century church fresco of Jesus, titled Ecce Homo, it's safe to say that she destroyed it. Once clearly the face of Jesus, the fresco is now a deformed face that many are calling "Potato Jesus" or "Beast Jesus." While this happened in August, Saturday Night Live got word that she wants to profit from her error and has hired a lawyer to help her out. First the scenario was memed, now Cecilia makes a rare appearance on television to explain herself:
