These photos of kids using very expensive digital camera equipment are going viral on Chinese social networking site Renren. Posted by a user named Liu Li Yang, the children are said to be the vacationing seeds of wealthy families. Some of the Nikon and Canon bodies and lenses they're strapped with have MSRPs well into the thousands and are likely better than what you would find in the bags of many professional photographers.
Some are pointing to pictures as a poignant example of the growing gap between socioeconomic classes in China, a gap they've been struggling to close for some time now. Click the thumbnails to feel as inadequate about your camera equipment as we do.
