Let's face it, New York City has got some great buildings, but none compare (in recent times) to Herzog & de Mueron's newest residential tower, "The Jenga Building." Unfortunately, construction came to a halt in late 2008 at the height of the recession, when the project couldn't raise the remainder of $600 million in financing. The good news is that construction is back on next week, so you can expect to see the building fully finished in spring 2016. Until then, we'll keep you posted.
