MTV's legendary show, House of Style, returns today in the form of a web series on MTV's style blog and with new supermodel co-hosts Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls. (Watch the first episode here.) If you watched any of the past episodes, or read Mary H.K Choi's thorough recount of each, you'd know the show was a mecca for all things fashion.
The show premiered in 1989 and was originally hosted by OG supermodel and all-around charmer, Cindy Crawford. For 12 seasons, it gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the fashion industry and its biggest stars, as well as featured actors and musicians in a way you couldn't really find elsewhere. Naomi Campbell applying zit cream to her face? It happened. Crawford visiting the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and asking for Will Smith's approval on a pair of Jordans? That happened, too. We even saw Karl Lagerfeld pre-weight loss and a younger Anna Wintour.
We learned a lot watching the MTV series, but we bet there are a few things people don't know about the show. We did some digging and came up with 10 Things You Didn't Know About MTV's House of Style.
