NYC-based Myriapod Productions started the Mysteries of Vernacular video series that explores the etymology of individual words through an animated book. The series will eventually include 26 stories, one for each letter of the alphabet. Each one takes nearly 80 hours to research, construct, and animate, so you can understand why only a few have been created and released so far. In any case, they've created a dope series that we hope we get more of soon.
