ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea built the Hostel La Buena Vida on Mazatlán Street in México D.F., Mexico to accommodate its growing number of tourists. The architects wanted the hostel to stand out from the homogeneous architectural of the area, so they gave it unique colors and textures, with amenities like a laundry room, a communal kitchenette-dining room, a lounge area with Internet, a terrace, and a sundeck. If only all hostels were this luxurious.
