This month sees the continuing growth of graffiti culture around the world. We've seen unbelievable new murals, especially from our favorite Brazilians, Os Gemeos. We've also witnessed new innovations in the tools of the trade. Can you believe a plane was used to write graffiti this month!? Additionally, more and more brands jumping on the graff bandwagon.

The 10 Biggest Graffiiti Moments of September 2012
10. Crap Graffiti
9. Ben Newman 'Os Pixadores'
A very beautiful film looking at the culture of Pixadores in Brazi. Pixadores is a distant cousin of traditional New York graffiti, but follows the same principles. Also, Ben Newman is fucking aces. Not sure if this was staged or not, but ignore all that and enjoy the visuals.
8. New Sever MSK site
9. The Top 100 Graffiti Instagrammers
6. Oink ART - Utah & Ether
The increasing portfolio of short clips by Oink Art are always worth keeping an eye. They document graffiti culture in a well edited and respectful way. The latest in their series is Utah & Ether bombing in Taipei. Watch it here and many other films featuring the likes of Hert, Pear, & Trav MSK.
5. DFW in Paris
4. LA Public Arts Programme
The likes of Revok, Zes, Push, and How & Nosm have recently had their artwork put on abandoned billboards around Los Angeles. Thanks to the Los Angeles Public Works Project, a city which has suffered from a strong policy against graffiti, it's citizens can now enjoy work from some of the best graffiti artists in the world
Things like this should happen more often.

2. Saber in the Sky
Last Sunday afternoon, Saber employed a skywriter to write the names of his MSK crew affiliates and #DefendTheArts over Manhattan. Saber explained the stunt in an interview, “Basically I’m calling out Mitt and any other politicians who are cutting arts funding because they are actually cutting jobs that are an engine to our economy. Not to mention the effect these programs have on creativity and inspiration.”
