A very beautiful film looking at the culture of Pixadores in Brazi. Pixadores is a distant cousin of traditional New York graffiti, but follows the same principles. Also, Ben Newman is fucking aces. Not sure if this was staged or not, but ignore all that and enjoy the visuals.

The likes of Revok, Zes, Push, and How & Nosm have recently had their artwork put on abandoned billboards around Los Angeles. Thanks to the Los Angeles Public Works Project, a city which has suffered from a strong policy against graffiti, it's citizens can now enjoy work from some of the best graffiti artists in the world

Things like this should happen more often.

Last Sunday afternoon, Saber employed a skywriter to write the names of his MSK crew affiliates and #DefendTheArts over Manhattan. Saber explained the stunt in an interview, “Basically I’m calling out Mitt and any other politicians who are cutting arts funding because they are actually cutting jobs that are an engine to our economy. Not to mention the effect these programs have on creativity and inspiration.”
