In case you missed it, Mitt Romney has made his stance on the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities pretty clear. In an interview with Fortune magazine last month, he said that if elected, he would eliminate these programs.
Yesterday, Los Angeles-based aerosol artist SABER painted an “aerial graffiti” campaign above New York City against presidential candidate Mitt Romney titled #DefendTheArts. SABER hired five skywriting planes that wrote the phrases "Defend the arts," "Occupy Wall Street," and "Graffiti" in the sky.
In the words of SABER:
“This extreme conservative has no appreciation for the arts or American culture, despite the fact that creative people are the backbone of this country."
